Blissful Visit or Weekend Staycation

Class Practice

Fields of Yogis takes place in the NewBo District of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. NewBo is a fun, funky, and exciting space, revitalized like a breath of fresh air after the flood of 2008. When the history threaded through Eastern Iowa’s landscape was nearly destroyed, local businesses and community members came together to rebuild and the area has been thriving ever since.

When we opened up shop in 2016, we decided to make our main home for Fields of Yogis at the heart center of the district. NewBo City Market serves as a magnet for citizens, tourists, and businesses to peruse culinary delights, live music, free family activities, and local shopping.

Join us as we intertwine ourselves with the thriving hub of NewBo City Market Friday, August 23 – 25 for a weekend of yoga, music, food, art, and community.

Whether you frequently spend your weekends at the market and stumble upon the festival or religiously attend yoga classes at your favorite studio, there is something for everyone at Fields of Yogis. Join us for community yoga all three days, free and open to everyone!

Friday: skip out of your office a little early to dive into your weekend with FREE yoga at the market 4:45p – 5:45p . Then stick around for a FREE concert with NewBo City Market’s Rock The Block.

Saturday and Sunday: Join us from 10:30a – 12:00p each day for FREE Community yoga. Combine with lunch and/or art classes and shopping at the Vendor Village to a la carte your way through the weekend!
