With an infectious enthusiasm for life, it doesn’t take long to understand how Ben became known to the community as Good Vibes. Through 11 moves and different 9 schools during his childhood in Des Moines, the seed was planted for living in the moment. From a young age, Ben learned that to have community you have to grow it.
Always an athlete, Ben first explored yoga through a course at the University of Northern Iowa. While enduring some trying personal times that tested his will and challenged his perspective, Ben would again turn to yoga in 2011 when an acquaintance provided him a list of 90 yoga poses. In an attempt to reflect and move forward, Ben used that list to learn movement, focus and meditation and became a passionate practitioner. His everyday commitment to learning and exploration of all styles and practices has helped mold his teaching methods.
In 2013, he earned his 200-hour registered yoga teacher certification and began to use teaching as a way to bring people together. Good Vibes guides you on a journey of energy and peace through yoga. His genuine personality and radiant positive energy has generated a loyal tribe of yogis in the Des Moines community where he is leading a movement of human reconnection.
